    Overview

    The Project Manager Intern will support and execute on all manufacturing activities, building and maintain relationships and ensuring alignment with business and regulatory strategies. This position will provide operational support in collaboration with internal and cross-functional stakeholders as required. The Project Manager Intern will support the development and implementation of new or modified policies, processes and procedures, as well as support the execution and management of strategic new product launches.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain schedules to ensure new products are completed on-time
    • Review existing processes and propose creative solutions for improvement
    • Support the analyses, interpretation and reporting of data and information pertaining to meeting our new product schedule
    • Provide support and execution of strategic and change management initiatives as required 
    • Cross-functionally collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders to establish time-tracking tool and methods to support capacity planning and partnership operating models
    • Prioritize product delivery to the Project Management Organization
    • Deliver product status updates
    • Schedule meetings to coordinate real-time key discussions
    • Work closely with manufacturing engineering, test engineering, quality, and industrial engineering to effectively communicate essential information
    • Review and document open items during team meetings and track competition dates
    • Complete special projects that are assigned in the duration of the internship
    • Learn and develop skills with our manufacturing enterprise software Aegis
    • Advise on issues identified on the floor in real time and escalate to necessary team members

    Qualifications

    • Self-motivated and results-oriented
    • Able to research and complete tasks independently
    • Strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
    • Proven analytical skills
    • Strong communicator both verbally and written
    • An undergraduate student in Business Management or Supply Chain Management
    • Must be a rising junior or senior in academic standing as of the summer of 2019
