    Overview

    Crestron Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Smart Lighting Design Engineering Intern for Summer 2019! This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast growing organization.

     

    We are seeking a polished, proactive, and professional Electrical Engineering Intern (or similar) to support the Engineering / Lighting Department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build a career in Design Engineering in a firm that cultivates a close-knit and collaborative corporate culture.

    Responsibilities

    • Benchmarking our new series of smart dimmers against the competition
    • Developing and executing test plans to verify new hardware designs, presenting results and proposed updates.
    • Reading schematics and making updates as necessary
    • Other projects related to new product development as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Junior or Senior studying for a major in Electrical engineering or similar (Computer Engineering, Physics)
    • Previous experience designing electronic circuits, analog, digital, microcontrollers etc is highly desired.
    • Ability to solve problems and perform hands on engineering tasks
