    Overview

     We continue to experience rapid growth as we invest in resources and create new opportunities; as a result, we have exciting opportunities for a Sales Engineer to join our Sales Strategy and Communication team in Rockleigh, New Jersey.

     

    We are seeking a polished, proactive, and professional Sales Engineer to assist the GLOBAL Sales-Teams to increase sales by creating instructional documentation, multimedia-presentations, and competitive design-guides

     

    Responsibilities

    • Content Development and Research
    • Sales team developmental Training/Testing
    • Interactive Sales-Team Feedback and polling
    • Demo-Systems instructional and system Design/Standards
    • Content development and instruction for New Sales Manager Training
    • Creation of competitive Sales-Guides, Videos, Competitor Crossover/Conversion Tables, PowerPoint Presentations
    • Content development/presentation for Regional Sales-Team Seminars
    • Content development/presentation for industry Trade-Shows
    • Assisting in the creation and development of competitive product comparisons and sales tools
    • Special projects as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 7 years of related experience is required
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred
    • Minimum 5 years of Commercial AV/IT industry experience with at least 2 years in a Solution/Applications Engineering role
    • Knowledge and proficiency with networked AV systems and design
    • Knowledge and proficiency in technical sales writing and presentation
    • Network+, CCENT or CCNA certifications a plus
    • Knowledge and proficiency with Unified Communication solutions
    • Knowledge and proficiency with Streaming AV solutions design
    • Knowledge of building technology software management/scheduling platforms preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Ability to learn new technologies
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously
    • CTS or CTS-D certification preferred
    • Crestron DMC-D-4K or DMC-E-4K certification preferred
    • Familiarity with PowerPoint, Camtasia (or other AV editing tools), AutoCAD, Visio, Excel/Word, etc. to develop documentation and project submittals
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
