    Overview

    We continue to experience rapid growth as we invest in resources and create new opportunities; as a result, we have an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager, Government Compliance to join our Architecture and Design team at our Rockleigh, NJ campus and world headquarters.

    • Supports business and engineering units by providing governance and guidance on government certifications and assessments.
    • Provides guidance on risk assessment, and required corrective actions to meet requirements.
    • Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of regulations, design controls, risk assessment processes, and organizational objectives.
    • Researches and documents compliance with government certifications and assessments.
    • Coordinates and executes efforts required to obtain certifications.
    • Provides Project Management Office with plans and milestones for tracking.
    • Coordinates sales inquiries related to government compliance and other certifications.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintains his/herself as an authority on government testing requirements at Crestron, including U.S. government and military regulations as well as international standards.
    • Works with the Technology Managers to ensure compatible requirements for product development.
    • Ensures the proper test facilities are maintained.
    • Liaisons to third party testing facilities.
    • Works with the engineers to ensure that test paperwork is properly created and signed off on.
    • Coordinates planning with Project Managers and Engineering Team Leads.
    • Develops and Documents mitigations for areas when requirements as written cannot be economically met.
    • Travels on-site as needed to oversee testing operations and ensure timely completion.
    • Works with various teams during the design process to ensure products and technologies involved – both from a functional level and a low-level technical level – are in line with certification objectives.
    • Monitors progress and provide reports on current projects

    Qualifications

    • BS degree in Computer Information Systems or related field is required.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, privacy and/or security risk management is required.
    • Strong program management background and leadership skills is required.
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical leadership role is required.
    • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills is essential.
    • Demonstrate ability to assimilate new knowledge quickly is essential.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is essential.
