    We continue to experience rapid growth as we invest in resources and create new opportunities; as a result, we have exciting opportunities for a Cloud Engineer to join our Enterprise team in Rockleigh, NJ 07647 OR in Plano, TX 75023.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as a Azure Cloud thought leader, solution visionary and technology expert
    • Analyzes product requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
    • Works with his team to create good modular/component based architecture with clear Communication paths. Creates Functional Specifications that clearly describes the Architecture
    • Leads discipline engineers to create Module Specifications that clearly describes each module/unit and the Interfaces
    • Ensures architecture and specifications are reviewed sufficiently before proceeding
    • Develops a deliverable plan for all activities. The plan includes breaking deliverables into tasks
    • Contribute to the development activities such as architecture & design, coding, unit testing and integration.
    • Consult with other team members to evaluate both the integration between hardware and software and the operational and performance requirements of overall systems
    • Review test plans to ensure they cover all product requirements
    • Manage technical risks, reports regularly on risks and mitigation steps to the Project Manager and directors
    • Work with various Microsoft technologies stacks such as .NET Framework (3.5, 4.0, and 4.5), Visual Studio, Web API and SQL Server 2008/2012
    • Design and develop solutions using Microsoft Azure PaaS resources such as Service Fabric, IoT Hub, Event hub, Stream analytics, Document DB, app services, service bus, distributed cache
    • Perform DevOps functions to our Azure infrastructure
    • Engage in find/fix for issues escalated to development
    • Write specifications for new development
    • 10% travel is required
    • Special Projects as assigned

     

    Projects to Include:

    • Design and extend Hydrogen Cloud platform
    • Become the thought leader in future cloud platforms
    • Onboard new devices to our Hydrogen Cloud Platform

     

    Ongoing work:

    • Build new features and functionalities in our existing cloud platforms
    • Perform DevOps functions to our Azure infrastructure

    Qualifications

    • BS degree in Computer science or related discipline is required an advanced degree is preferred
    • Expert level proficiency in Microsoft.NET (C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API), SQL Server, No SQL Databases and micro services is required
    • Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Azure technologies such as Service Fabric, IoTHub, Event hub, Stream analytics, Document DB, app services, service bus, Web sites, Web roles, Worker roles, Distributed Cache, etc. is also required.
    • Experience with JavaScript, Angular, and jQuery is a plus.
    • Experience in PowerShell & Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
    • Experience with Scripting/Automation/IaaS/PaaS is preferred.
