    Overview

    The Senior Credit Analyst will work directly for the Director of Credit to ensure that the credit decisions and collection efforts are made in a timely manner.  The role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast growing organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Proactively liaise with customers to collect, reconcile and track daily/monthly AR balance accounts against customer records resolving past due accounts receivable; involving/escalating to sales as needed
    • Provide excellent customer service regarding collection issues, discrepancies and short payments, which includes professional communication and timely responses
    • Perform credit reviews on large/complex customers to determine credit worthiness and recommend credit limits in accordance with guidelines and procedures based off financial information of the customers, credit agencies reports, trade and bank references, publications and information provided by sales
    • Ability to monitor and release orders based on credit availability, AR status and overall credit worthiness.
    • Credit card payment processing
    • Keep the Director of Credit informed of serious credit and collections problems and/or major problems in account status or payment trends
    • Ad Hoc activities/projects on an as needed basis

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting, or commensurate experience
    • A minimum of 5 years of credit experience is required
    • Demonstrated ability to make sound credit decisions
    • Must have strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills
    • D&B knowledge required
    • SAP knowledge is preferred
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Outlook
    • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
    • Electronics/Manufacturing industry preferred
