    Overview

    To maintain, and grow Crestron business through our consultant network and university/college partners in Western Canada. The candidate must possess a strong technical knowledge of audio visual systems and Crestron product. The candidate must train consultants and our educational partners on new products and how to implement our products into their designs. The position is based in Vancouver

    Responsibilities

    • If you are a self-motivated sales professional who is excited about building and maintaining strong relationships with your key accounts and driving Enterprise sales growth within a given territory and enhancing the lives of your customers by introducing our seamless technology this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for! 
    • The candidate will be responsible to identify and develop opportunities, collaborate with the sales team to provide solutions, drive business back to the dealer channel and assist in closing the sale
    • This position requires the ability to hunt into new accounts, develop and maintain business within existing accounts and manage complex sales situations and large projects
    • Business forecasting, pipeline development and management skills are required
    • Must develop an executive annual plan for new business development and growth of existing accounts in line with the company strategy 
    • Candidate will be required to Develop business relationships with all levels of management within the College, University, and Select High School Districts, and train end users on technology products that will advance the development of market solutions. 
    • Strong technical background will be essential to developing accounts and selling project-based, hardware and/or software systems solutions.

    Qualifications

    • College/University degree preferred
    • Self-motivated with a proven track record of sales to corporate IT
    • 5+ years sales capacity with technical knowledge preferred 
    • Able to communicate effectively with consultants and engineers
    • Working knowledge of Crestron's products and software. Knowledge of procurement policies, information technologies procurement needs, and facilities management within a large organization will be important as you will be demonstrating our products to potential clients
