    Crestron Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Engineer to oversee all aspects of design quality during the new product development process. This is a great time to join a dynamic team in a fast growing organization.


    This position serves as a key member of the product design team for feature packed commercial electronic devices. The primary responsibility is to anticipate quality concerns by participating in design meetings and analyzing design documents. When a potential issue is detected, this individual will work with various organizations, including design engineering, manufacturing and quality, to assess the issue and drive a successful resolution. Using the FMEA process, this individual will record and track such issues until their closure.


    The successful candidate will be a highly polished professional with outstanding communication ability. He or she will be very comfortable as a key participant on multiple fast-paced design teams. The ability to understand design and manufacturing concerns during each stage of the design cycle will be an essential ability, as this position will draw from such continually.




    • Evaluate new designs of feature dense commercial grade electronic devices to uncover quality and reliability concerns in advance of high volume production.
    • Be a highly vocal advocate for quality and reliability during design review process.
    • Maintain master FMEA log of quality issues for products in development.
    • Provide project management for items on the FMEA log and hold regular meetings to review progress on resolving said items.
    • Where necessary, prepare and present a report of specific concerns to management related to critical new product launches.
    • Review manufacturing and test processes for new products and highlight potential concerns.
    • Review pilot runs and early production runs, providing oversite and quality engineering support where required.
    • Other duties as required.



    • Engineering degree from an accredited institution.
    • 5 Years’ experience in a rigorous engineering role effecting change and improvement.
    • Strong understanding of how to drive high levels of quality in commercial electro/mechanical products at the design and early production stage.
    • General knowledge of PCB assembly, general PCB quality concerns and PCB test.
    • General knowledge of final assembly processes and high level assembly test.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication is essential.
    • Must work well with multiple diverse teams at various levels within the company.
    • Travel up to 10%
