    The Manager, Manufacturing Project Management is responsible for the introduction of new products/processes from engineering development into the full production environment. This includes managing the program from early prototype builds through to the launch of the production line, and requires an exceptional capacity for cross-functional interaction and leadership.  You will work with several cross-functional teams to develop program schedules and track their progress against the established plan. Understanding the impact upstream and downstream in the achievement of operational goals is essential.



    • Drive results through cross-functional teams in engineering, supply chain, production, and leadership to support product launch
    • Manage a team of four Project Managers
    • Ensure facilities, materials, resources, production, systems, and flow readiness for product launches
    • Communicate with international contract manufacturers to facilitate the outsourcing process prior to product launches; Communicate matters with cross-functional teams. A key indicator of success is your ability to communicate manufacturability matters to the engineering team along with driving changes to improve the product
    • Knowledge of global material flow and compatibility within the product
    • Provide direction to project engineers for priorities/trial requirements


    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or the equivalent professional experience and evidence of exceptional ability
    • Minimum seven years of experience working in product development, ideally with multiple delivered products preferably in the technology sector or EMS industry
    • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and/or industrial engineering
    • Prior experience in planning activities and vendor management in an engineering environment
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Project and SharePoint
    • Knowledge of SAP strongly preferred
    • Demonstrates ability to understand complex development projects and identify critical elements
    • Skillful with electrical and computer-based tools, including precision measuring equipment, electrical test equipment, and computer databases
    • Must be reliable, innovative, committed, and quality focused
    • Understands and appropriately applies principles, procedures, requirements, and policies related to specialized projects
    • Excellent written and verbal skills; Ability to communicate across cultures and geographic regions
    • Proven ability to operate under pressure with rigid time constraints
    • Can track and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, occasionally requiring extended hours
    • Can work closely with cross-functional departments
    • Have an aptitude to learn and incorporate new technologies
    • Ability to identify issues and make corrective measures to resolve
    • Makes well-informed, effective, and timely decisions
    • Writes in a clear, concise, and  organized manner for the intended audience
    • Must be willing to travel; Up to 25% global travel required
