    Overview

    Crestron Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Support Specialist. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast growing organization.

     

    We are seeking a polished, proactive, and professional Specialist to support the Customer Support department. In this role you will work as part of a Customer Support team to interact via telephone, email and face-to-face with our customers in a fast-pace and solution-based environment to ensure customer satisfaction. 

     

    We will look for you to showcase your interpersonal and relationship building skills to resolve the various issues from our dealer network.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Review orders daily for accuracy and product availability to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
    • Review weekly and monthly open order reports and coordinate with internal departments to resolve any open order issues and communicate with customers and sales team.
    • Maintain and grow relationship with existing and new customers by monitoring their daily activity, following up on their interactions and resolving any issues.
    • Provide information to dealers such as order status, pricing, product availability, shipping information such as dates and freight estimates, and return authorizations or receipt of product via e-mail and phone.
    • Participation in tradeshow and customer-related events.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma required; college degree a plus
    • Minimum of 5 years in a customer/sales support role required
    • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills a must
    • Exceptional interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills needed
    • Intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word. Experience with an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards a plus
