    Overview

     As a leader within the Technology and Product Management Team you will join a tightly knit and high performing group of industry veterans shepherding complex and highly integrated products to market.  

    As the DigitalMedia™ Product Marketing Manager at Crestron, you will drive the go to market strategy for enterprise AV, digital signage, video processing, and video distribution products from concept through release in a dynamic, creative, and fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include market analysis, roadmap planning, go to market strategy, product life cycle management, and will include supporting sales and marketing efforts during the new product rollout.  You will be the public face of the product meeting with key partners, stakeholders, and customers.

    • Success of the business
      • Consistent watch on product sales
      • Product Roadmap - Create product roadmaps based on usability studies, customer outreach and competitive research
      • Share your vision through product demonstrations to key stakeholders
    • Marketing
      • Develop and manage the go to market strategy
      • Own product positioning and messaging
      • Oversee website and other marketing collateral

      • Meet and work with dealers and partners (consultants, enterprise, government etc)

      • Evaluate and recommend pricing strategies
      • Consult on product feature set.
    • Training & Support
      • Responsible for working with CTI to create appropriate training
      • Work with Customer and Technical Support teams to ensure proper Subject Matter Expertise
      • Review issues, complaints, and recommend appropriate response.
      • Work with Business Projects to ensure all business processes are in place.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Proficiency with, and knowledge of, streaming video protocols, video processing, and video distribution technologies.
    • Broad understanding of Ethernet networking technologies and protocols as they pertains to residential and commercial AV systems integration.
    • Experience in short, high-throughput product development cycles
    • Self-starter with proven ability to constantly learn new software and hardware technologies and an ability to quickly put that learning into practice in support of highly visible real-world projects. Be able to research and become an expert on new technologies relevant to the product line.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to lead team meetings, set expectations, and hold people accountable for delivering the expected product
    • Team player with visible company spirit. Demonstrable ability to quickly gain the trust of key stakeholders, end-users, and co-workers alike.
    • Ability to be hands-on and travel occasionally to job sites to see how our products are getting installed/applied and be able to translate that experience into a better product.
    • Proficiency with, and knowledge of, enterprise technologies including digital signage, unified communications and collaboration products, and related software, management tools and services.
    • Broad understanding of networking technologies and protocols as they pertain to commercial AV systems

    Ideal Experience & Education:

    • 3+ Years of product management experience
    • Engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years of product development experience.
