    Overview

    This position is responsible for a variety of tasks that are manufacturing based and may include assembling and manufacturing products for sales orders, picking product materials and testing or inspecting products through the entire production process

    Responsibilities

    • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions such as outbound deliveries, component overviews, and control tickets to accurately assemble equipment and products.
    • Utilize hand held tools such as a hand held screw, drill gun and other job specific tooling as required by departmental SOP.
    • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards, Electro Static Discharge and established safety  procedures
    • Pull and verify Raw materials, Cards and labeling according to customer order and configuration.
    • Layout, construct, and package various product assemblies
    • Large scale packaging of products in crates and palate sizes scaling from 2-16 feet.

    Qualifications

    • 1 – 2 year experience in a production environment.
    • High School diploma or GED equivalent. preferred.
    • Knowledge of measurements and basic manufacturing.
    • Must be able to follow work instructions and cross train throughout.
    • Understanding of specialized test equipment preferred.
    • Sound written and oral communication skills required.
    • Must be able to stand 100% and walk 60% of the shift.
    • Must be able to lift/move up to approximately 40 pounds.
    • Must be able to bend and push cartons of product.
    • Must have good vision in order to perform not only visual inspection duties but also to identify color differences in both plastics and shade fabrics
