We continue to experience rapid growth as we invest in resources and create new opportunities; as a result, we have exciting opportunities for an Intern (Summer 2018) to join our Mechanical Engineering team in Rockleigh, New Jersey.


We are seeking a polished, proactive, and professional Engineering Intern to support the Mechanical Design group. In this role, you will contribute to the expansion of our DigitalMedia Switchers while working on one or more projects.


  • Responsible for turning concept designs into working prototype models by selecting mechanical design elements such as spring and dampers.
  • Work closely with other engineers to solve design issues.
  • Work closely with the Fabrication shop staff to build working prototypes.
  • Performing test to validate functionality.
  • Providing technical documentation (such as test results) and drawings. 


  • Rising Junior working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge in 3D CAD Software Platforms (Creo/ProE Preferred).
  • Experience with Machine Design Elements such as Linkage, cam, Spring, and Damper designs.
  • Experience working with shop personnel to integrate sheet metal and plastic designs into working prototype.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as working independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
