We continue to experience rapid growth as we invest in resources and create new opportunities; as a result, we have exciting opportunities for an Intern (Summer 2018) to join our IT Business Projects team in Rockleigh, New Jersey.

 

The Business Projects Department works with all departments across Crestron, as well as outside consultants and vendors to improve current operations through IT and process-driven changes.  The role of the Business Projects Intern is to work with the Crestron Business Community to help turn business requests into business, systems, and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Business Analysts to elicit business requirements from business users and subject matter experts
  • Collaborate to translate business requests into business requirements for the business community and IT organizations
  • Assist in performing validation testing (including functional, integration, and regression testing)
  • Daily Support internal business processes and systems
  • Understand and document both current and new business processes
  • Develop training documentation to support the training needs of each department such as training curriculum, training manual, user guide, maintenance manual, programming guides and/or quick reference guides
  • Maintain and update training documentation to keep up with changes in the business processes

Qualifications

  • Must be a team-oriented professional with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and adjust priorities based on workload or direction from management
  • Good interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with individuals both internal and external to Crestron
  • Proficiency using the MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
