We continue to experience rapid growth as we invest in resources and create new opportunities; as a result, we have exciting opportunities for a Customer Support Specialist to join our Commercial Lighting team in Rockleigh, New Jersey.

 

Crestron is a fast-pace, solution-based environment. In this role we are looking for someone to ensure complete customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will respond to inquiries, concerns and requests regarding orders, production schedules, shipping and returns via telephone, email and face-to-face.

Responsibilities

 

  • Review daily and weekly open order reports and coordinate with internal departments to resolve any open order issues and communicate with customers and sales team
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing and new customers by monitoring their daily activity, following up on their interactions and resolving any issues
  • Issue Return Merchanise Authorizations and stay on top of all correspondences with customers to ensure expectations are met or exceeded 
  • Generate PO's for external support personnel and work with Service PM's to ensure Project Management software is updated
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • AS degree required, BS degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a customer/sales support role
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Project Management and SAP applications  
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong listening, problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task with shifting priorities
  • Highly attentive to detail and accuracy
  • Self-starter
